In the framework of celebrating the 31st edition of the Heritage Month under the theme: "The Traditional Clothing: a National Identity and a Regional Specificity," the Agency for the Development of Heritage and Cultural Promotion (AMVPPC) organizes on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in partnership with the Youth Center of Zahana and the artisan "Traditional Costume", an animation day at the site and the Archaeological Museum of Utique.
This manifestation seeks to promote to youth traditional clothing being an essential component of the national cultural identity.
The program includes:
- A guided tour of the site and the Archaeological Museum of Utique
- A parade of the traditional clothing presented by the artisan "Traditional Costume"
- A photographic competition to select the best photo of a traditional dress taken in the archaeological site.
- A workshop on embroidery arts
Finally, the best photo of the competition will be selected, and the winners will be honored.
